Not Just Man's Best Friend, But For Autistic Kids Too

The decision to adopt a dog into the family is rarely routine as one must consider expense, time commitment, and overall responsibility.
For families of children with autism, the decision can be even more challenging.
A new study may ease the concern of parents as researchers discovered that in families of children with autism, parents reported benefits of dog ownership including companionship, stress relief, and opportunities for their children to learn responsibility.
